Exceptional food and service. Delicious and beautiful sushi that is still reasonably priced. The chef does not only create delicious rolls, but makes them into works of art- our taste buds and eyes were very pleased. They even had gluten free tempura :)
The guy doing the cooking was a nice enough guy. He was interacting with us and moving the conversation along and doing all the cool tricks. But I could see the sadness in his eyes, like he knew he is destined for something better.... like a financial master, maybe a doctor, or maybe a prolific engineer. Idk, but seeing that sadness in the eyes of a guy cooking my food just makes it that much more enjoyable while I have a great time with my friends and family!
Always enjoy going to Fuji's! Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent every time. We go there for our birthdays and whenever we crave sushi. I cannot thank them enough, makes me happy to remember the last time there. Great job to everyone there!
Have been coming here for years with my family. The sushi and teppanyaki dinners are always top notch. Juicy steaks and fresh sushi. The sushi chefs are artists. Never disappointed. We love Fujis!
We've been lucky enough to have Miguel as are chef every time! He does a fantastic job with the fire show and the food, kids and adults alike love it! He is definitely a keeper!
Best of the best around Happy Valley. However they do have room for improvement. The amount of rice used for nigiri is a bit too much. Rice was not very seasoned, but the fresh and delicate fish made up for it. Presentation was fantastic, but can be a bit overdone for some customers. They are a bit rusty now that they are back in business post-pandemic. Despite all this, their fish is fresh, rice is not overcooked, and it's a clean restaurant with boujee vibes. This sushi restaurant is highly recommended and I'll be back.
I have been coming here the last 12 years and I have never had a bad experience. I'm obsessed with Fujis lol. Sushi side is my absolute favorite but the grill side is good too. Great sushi, I think affordable cost and great service especially the people behind the counter making the food
My son and I came here to eat at the table where the grill is, and unfortunately, we learned we needed to make reservations (next time). However, we grabbed seats at the rotating sushi bar and had a pleasant experience. Make sure you pay attention to your check, because we got the bill and I looked it over and something was charged that we didn't get, I brought it to the employees attention and it was fixed, I felt it was a lot cheaper then what I had expected. Overall, we will be back. My son said it's his new fave spot.
